1. Eliminate clutter
Clutter prevents the free flow of positive Qi in your house. Make a list of things you are not planning to use in near future and donate them is a great way to eliminate clutter and invite positive Qi.

In Feng Shui perspective, broken things or things in the past are the symbols of broken life. Start fixing things in the house will make your home a better place, with or without Feng Shui. Things you might consider fixing are as below,

3. Induce positive Qi
Most of the time, the front door is believed to be the gate of Qi. To induce positive Qi into your house, clear blockages and clean your entrance. You should also provide enough lighting in the entrance area.

It's generally believed that living plants can create live Qi. No, we are not talking about small indoor plants like herbs, vegetables or cacti. We are talking about bushy plants, use them to create a pleasant and livable environment in any room.

9. Use the right stove
Stove is the symbol of the creation of life and it's considered to be the house of spirit in Chinese culture. Avoid using an electric stove or electromagnetic stove because they create negative Qi. Always go for a big stove to promote peace and harmony of your home.

10. Use big mirror in bathroom
Bathroom is where Qi stagnates. To promote the flow of Qi, install big mirror in your bathroom. Mirror will make a small bathroom looks bigger too. It's like killing 2 birds with one stone.

11. Arrange your furniture properly
In any room, furniture arrangement can be both simple and complicated task. From Feng Shui perspective, you need to arrange the furniture around the focal point. Focal point can be a fireplace, TV set, windows with the outdoor view or a big painting. If you have more than 1 focal point in one room, move a movable item to the unmovable item. For example, put a large painting on the same side as the fireplace in the living room.

12. Pick the right color
The conventional way of thinking is to pick light and neutral color for every room. However, this is a misunderstanding! The rule of thumb is to pick the colors you like.
